Azam Ali Khan (Tabla)

Born and brought up in the US Azam Ali Khan trained under his father Ustad Kadar Khan. He is a tabla player and instructs at the Kalavant Center for Music and Dance in New York. He has performed at the prestigious Symphony Space in New York City, and has held lecture demonstrations at Manhattan School of Music, New York University, Hunter college, and the Public Libraries in New York. He has also worked with many musicians such as Pandit Jasraj (vocal), Ustad Shahid Parvez (sitar), Vidushi Uma Garg (vocal), Pandit Mani Prasad (vocal), Premik Russell Tubbs (saxophone), Shakir A. Khan (sitar), Deepsankar Bhattacharjee (sitar), Ustad Liyakat Ali Khan (sarangi), and many others.
